Hi all,

I'm the creator of the harbornew3.pk3, that currently runs on your server.
After some chat with some of your clan mates they suggested a graphical improvement.

I changed some textures and now my harbornew3 map has an italian flavor.

Sorry but I didnt like the map. There are to many routes you can take.
Yes, some might say that its great with many options on where to attack. But its enough as it is on example uo_harbor. There are a limited ways of getting through. But now on this version you can basically get stabbed anywhere at anytime from a direction you dont expect as every building or spot on the map is so easily accesible.

Hope you understand what I mean. Made a nice effort on refreshing a map, but I think you tried to use to much of the good stuff and it ended up messy.

Well, that's an interesting point of view for me.
Whenever I played the original map I was frustrated by people just laying
down in the 3 ways and MGing everyone to death, despite smoke or not.
That's the main reason why I changed the map into this version.

Second thought: there is now more space for people actually trying
to get the flag. I'm always rushing to the flag and got sprayed all the time
in the original version.

Third thought: If you move now to the flag, you get spawns closer to it,
so there is a bit dynamic in the spawns, that normally every (bigger) map has.

But since you maybe a totally different type of player than me, it is absolutely understandable
that you feel different about it.

That's why I didnt include S&D in this version.
Bonus fact: All additional routes that are new are sealed in dm and tdm.
