Auto assign only option?

Is there in consideration option for only auto assign your team?
After couple months of playing on your server i noticed that some players(which i wont name) are always doing 2 things.
1.Be spectate then go to stronger team or,
2.Always choosing same team(easy path) on some map,stanjel-axis,or when is S&D on Railyard go to allies...thats not fair gaming,and not fair to us who are always goin for auto assign...
If someone can make some statement on my thoughts,i would be thankful.

Christina never found a mod to limit team choosing options.

She knows what's the C# function to force auto-assign but she doesn't know what to do with it in the UO source code.

No admin in his right mind will watch the console every 5 minutes for people switching teams.

If players get a sniff about our intentions to force players to other teams they would troll us by constantly complaining about each other.

I saw one server with auto assign only. It was on Historians Bas server.

At first I thought it is a goog idea, but if you think twice, the problems won´t change and it can ruin a server.

The winner team joiners will always find a way to join the easy/winning team. They will wait in spec until someone leaves. And if it´s auto only, a stronger player can´t join the loosing team to help out. And its not possible to have a 24/7 admin you does nothin than change players from team to team.

So I guess we have to live with WTJ.

Thats definitely not a bullshit,why would somebody always choose allies on railyard s&d,so that he can have ease kills,and therefore imagine if that allies team is stronger one,easy 40,50 points for him,even if he is average player.

Problem is that some people use that option only for building their final score(no team playing),go axis on stanjel,set fire and pitch a tent on that hill...thats not fair.

Sometimes you win,sometime you lose,thats how it goes.

This is the idea of a bullshit. now what is the problem with the server. FFS I don't understand why needed this thing? i think on the server everyone happily plays from morning to night! Now if this idea is introduced lot of players are leaving the server I'm sure. o.O?

This would be nice..its very annoying to see always the same people join the easier site respectively stay in spec and join the winner team.

you must change it in.

w_awe_uo_svr_v2.12 file on the server -> maps -> MP -> gametypes -> there are all gametype files.
You must change all the files.

Look it up and change.

Works now. Needed 2 people to test it.

The menu still shows allies/axis in the options, but regardless of your choice you're auto-assigned.

Press Axis -> you get auto-assigned.
Press Allies -> you get auto-assigned.

good work mate )) i think there was a command to disable those allies and axis text.

Since I wasted my time opening the pk3 file, I also changed Brecourt to have Russians vs Germans.

Had to revitalize that round somehow... we've been playing it daily for more than an year now. Getting boring.
