CoD 2 question

I had this game for quite some time and it was installed and uninstalled many times from my old computer.Now I tried for the first time to install it on my laptop and when I put it in my drive,it first sounds normal,then some faint clapping and when I go into my computer and look under:drive E it says that there is nothing in it and if I click it,it ejects and says:Put in a disc.Then I went to some site and there I read that CoD 2 wasn't compatible with Windows 7.So could this be the reason it won't read or is it something else?

The disc is clean and isn't scratched.Some other discs are in a much worse shape and they work.
I bought it in the same place as my CoD1 and UO,and they look pretty much the same.
Can somebody help  

Have u tried a different cd? maybe the CD Drive isnt working right?

I found that site today and another one,but the problem is now that I don't know how to download it from it

Because there is always a 100 buttons that say"Download"and I don't know which one to click and even when I get it right I just download some fucking downloaders with which I don't have a clue what to do.

after downloading the torrent (its 3.5 gb) you have to download and install this to mount the downloaded torrent you need this software to install the cod2, because the cod2 file is .iso  file http://www.filehippo.com/download_daemon_tools/

how to mounth:
just click the ''add disk'' button or sth and locate your cod2.iso and click the drive where you have mounted the cod2.iso and install!

I've downloaded it and it's now WinRar,just one question where do I need to go to find that add disc button?

Probably you download iso so must download too an example Daemon Tools and install by daemon

I've clicked on the drive onto which I have mounted it and the auto play shows as usual and when I click it,after some time it says:"Library not registered".
But CoD is still showing like it's running but it isn't anything and when I try to close it,around 10-17 error windows appear.
