FYI, Project Reality (PR) is now free to play, aswell as Forgotten Hope 2 (FH2). These are both great mods for Battlefield 2, you can play these without having a legitimate BF2 game. They both greatly improve the graphics/feel and most importantly: both have better gameplay than most other (more recent) games.

I've posted a video about PR before so maybe you'll know it already, but they recently (1 year ago) came out with version 1, and a few days ago 1.2. 1.2 Includes the Dutch forces   .
Just watch a bit of the following videos to give you an idea of both of these mods.
