Re: stats
Since the RO server has been changed to all weapon. I created a new stats page for AW details.
The original RO server stats have been kept and they will continue if we change back to rifle only.
In the meantime you can use the server selector in the top right corner of the page to view details for every server.
Also as Sixer pointed out. When you click on a medal (bash for example), you go to a page where all bash stats are shown, from all servers together...... so you have to go to the top-right corner and select the bash stats for every server individually.

Re: stats
For security reasons I had to upgrade my server to PHP 5.3.9
This broke the stats server and also caused my hosting server to crash several times, along with my clients' websites.
I turned off the stats server till I find a way to optimize the database server resource usage so it does not block the entire server.

Re: stats
Unfortunately the stats must be taken down since they kept crashing my server.
The player database just got too big (over 4 million records) and it kept running my CPU usage off 100% for 1-2 hours while i was parsing the logs.
Now I understand why almost all UltraStats installations i saw never went above 10 000 kills per person and tracked only recent rounds. The database just gets to big for any server. I even moved it from a shared hosting account to my VDS and it kept crashing. Tried installing it locally, parsing the log and then uploading it to the server... crashed either when parsing, or when trying to upload.
Searched for other tools... but didn't find any that supported Cod:UO.
We either shut them down....or we restart tracking from 0 and reset it every 6 months.
The former stats are here... but not updated: http://is7s.com/dhstats1/

Re: stats
Reset stats every 6 months and keep an archive is good enough imo

Re: stats
good news.... kinda finishing all my other projects and i'll have time to re-up the stats websites at the end of the week
Re: stats
Bad news: I will not be keeping the stats anymore.
Technical stuff:
- the stats server was written without any table indexes...so every query to display data queries the entire table and not the proper index ---> long index ---> server CPU usage goes up + server memory load goes up ---> server goes down --> i call customer support --> they charge money to get their butts up and restart the server by hand (if i use a shared hosting account, they'll just simply deactivate my account untill I take it down)
- almost every query, due to the lack of indexes becomes a long/slow query
- written for the completely wrong MySQL engine, the count operation takes way to much, but InnoDB was not that known when UltraStats was written
- there are no limits set for general SELECT queries, so any stupid data display, like the last 10 rounds of a single player, interrogates all the database, instead of counting the first 10 results and just printing them.
If you have another stats keeping solutions let me know, and I'll try them out.
Meanwhile, I can't even export the database tables anymore.

What pity, now that had improved my statistics!
Re: stats
I'm testing some new stats trackers.
This is just a test: http://is7s.com/serverstats-test/
It will not be the official stats server, since it lacks features.
Maybe someone is interested in seeing what they did the last 2 months on the SD RO server.

temp
I found another tracker that does the same thing as the old UltraStats.
But I have to test it for a week, to see if it can remember results or if it crashes my server.
It's something like this: http://hbcweb.nw.io/vsp/pub/themes/bismarck/index.php

the awards work now
to see what award the player has, just hover the mouse over the shield
PS: SD RO server coming in 1-2 days as well

The stats for the main server are back to being updated on a regular basis. The dates are still off.
Since we track stats by user cd key ---- the 129 egyptians that play with the same CD key are currently leading the stats
The RO SD server coming tonight. ●~*

SD RO Server stats
I put 2 different skins per stats server to distinguish one from another.
I recommend keeping it that way yourself.
If you ain't listed, means you haven't made the 100 frags threshold ... but you can find your name if you manually search for it.

Re: stats
christina, do the new stats work with ip tracking? because it's counting aliasses, and GUID's.
