COD 2 Server

Since there are almost no other (at least mediocre) clans in UO that we can play with, Monster decided to give CoD2 a try.

We'll be having a CoD 2 server up and running IP:188.138.92.40:51003

Impressions? Suggestions? How many of you have the game?

I reduce the main server to 32 slots and use the extra money to make cod2 32 slots this will be a promod sd server!

Sounds cool. Hope we can get some dh players to play cod2, its by far the best multiplayer of all the COD games (after UO ofc )

hmm. i think i have the game somewhere (not installed though).. maybe i could give it a try again. don´t even remember the reason for why i didn´t like it. something was wrong with it.. hmm.. well, i guess it all will come back to me when i try it out.

You can't run....so if you spawn or get caught in an open space you're 99% dead.
The game is a camper's heaven.

But I like the graphics and maps more.

You just missed the "warchest" promotion.
You could have got CoD1, UO and CoD 2 for 16 euros.

Im getting a bit bored with UO, so I might give it a try.

I played Cod 2 a few hours years ago, and it really sucks. You can't run, and the way the players walk is weird. Graphics and physics suck too. I'm not interested on playing it. I'll play UO till the last server is alive.

About the "no sprint" thingie its both good and bad. Its bad because you dont have the same mobility as you used to have in UO but its a nice because it stops all the headless spraying around. COD2 is about aiming, not about spraying like a maniac

aaaah. and there it was. u can´t run. that was one of the sucky things yes.. u can climb over walls and shite but u can´t run.

and wasn´t there something weird with the nades also? could u cook them? or was it just that i for some weird reason couldn´t bind them as i could in uo that meant i had to throw nades with a specific binded button for them.. hmm. this almost makes me interested again. have to install it.

Yea.... nades are on G.... u can still cook them anyway. Just keep pressing G.

4 to 5 times more players and servers is the result I get when searching now.

I have the game but very long time not played.i check out to find it.

Yea but most servers are modded and I get an error on 95% of them.

Waited 25 minutes to download the {UN} server mod... and it still failed.

Took me an eternity to find a good server.

I have Cod2 but as Coxeh said, no sprint and they are jumping (bunnyhopping..) like crazy ppl o.O But ye why not, I can play it when I have some *spare time* left hihihi ....

i have been playing at un server with mod, had no problems with downloading at their svr
